We are working on some new products! With fewer markets in the winter, and some of our farm stores closing, we have a TINY bit more time to try some new things that have been on our list for quite a while. The first one is tentatively called Pickled Harvest. Laurie has been wanting to make this for a while. It is sort of like our Giardiniera, but has corn wheels added and a different spice blend. In addition, we added some sugar to make it not quite as tart. Laurie love it! Second on the list is Salsa Verde. We grew tomatillos this summer and we still have a lot left. This green salsa uses the tomatillos, onions, jalapenos, garlic and cilantro. We hope you like it as much as we do. We also are going to try some Southwest Salsa. We are going to roast some corn, onions, and peppers - add it to our heirloom tomato mix with some spices. We think this will bring out a whole new flavor for our salsa loving friends. We are planning on brining some of these to the winter markets to let our friends try them and give us some feedback. of course, they all have to go out to the lab to get tested and then submitted to the FDA for approval. We would love to hear from you on these ideas. Or do you have some of your own? What should we add to our product line?
