We arent talking smoking pot here this is farm production of a renewable ag source for a number of by-products. See the scheme goes like this: Most arguments about Hemp come from its difficulty to process... wah wah! they use much more processing in the production of Aspen pulp to produce paper up here in Northern Minnesota. Hemp could easily be acclimatized to this region and our short season for crop production... however we are not worried about a fruit only seed production to reproduce the crop!... it is self sustaining. And it can be seeded very early and harvested even after the first frost for fiber production. Early harvest would be for oils and resins and leaf material (fine papers) and less ropey-like fiber and more cellulose production. So the idea is to pre-process the materials - sorting and pre-processing by fract-ing off oils and resins with a simple distillation that produces no harmful by-products that go to waste.
