We arrived in Los Angles late on Saturday night and went straight to bed as we had to get up early on Sunday morning. On Sunday we headed for Rodeo Drive where Pretty Woman was filmed as it is my favourite film. I was so excited to go there, but I was slightly let down as Rodeo Drive and all the streets around it were full of Ferrari’s and packed with people as it was the cars 60th anniversary and they were revealing the new model. By the time we left the Ferrari count was up to 778! Next we headed to the Walk of Fame, it was cool to finally see a celebritys star, although we didnt have time to see them all. The ones we did manage to see included Ellen Degeneres, Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston. We then headed to Runyon Canyon Park, as its supposedly the best place to see the Hollywood sign. We managed to get a few photos of the sign as well as a view over Los Angles. Finally the last stop of the day was to a restaurant in Malibu called Moon-Shadow, which overlooked the ocean on a cliff, and is voted as one of the best places to watch the sunset...and it was true! There was nothing blocking the view off the sun. It was beautiful and peaceful, by far the best way to eat dinner! On Monday morning we headed to Venice Beach and walked along the main street by the beach. What a bizarre place! There were random shops everywhere, from sole traders to franchises on one side, while on the other side there were stalls with paintings, photographs, henna artists and other arty trades. This was all mixed in with a variety of homeless people sitting behind the stalls on the beach edge. On the way back we walked along the beach near the sea. For lunch we went to C&O Trattoria who are well known for their amazing garlic bread rolls in America! Id heard about them from a Youtube blogger called “The Shaytards’. Then It was off to Las Vegas.
