We arrived in Zambia after 36 hours of traveling, very tired. We met the Dr. Cheryl Snyder who asked us to come along with 2 other chaplains from Washington, Bill Lotz and Cheryl Kulas. We had a typical Zambian dinner of eggplant, rape (spinach-like consistency and taste, rape w/peanut sauce, sheema, and chicken. We drove through an outdoor marketplace in Lusaka at night where it was very crowded and lights were few so it was quite dark. We retired for the night around 9:00 PM and plan to go to a Baptist church for Sunday services. Phones are not working so far so the only communications we have our Facebook and email.
