We as humans are wired to be creatures of habit. We find a vice, - TopicsExpress

We as humans are wired to be creatures of habit. We find a vice, something that stimulates or gives us comfort, and we bond to it. There are bad habits, just as there are healthier habits. Most of us know the expression that says, too much of anything isnt good for you. I say this is true, when it comes to anything in this world that doesnt please God. What does the Bible say? Do Not Love the World. Do not love the world or anything in it. If you love the world, love for the Father is not in you. Here is what people who belong to this world do. They try to satisfy what their sinful natures want to do. They long for what their sinful eyes look at. They brag about what they have and what they do. All of this comes from the world. It doesnt come from the Father. The world and its evil longings are passing away. But those who do what God wants them to do live forever. - 1 John 2:15-17 I am glad to say that I am personally addicted to God. At a point in my life, I got hooked on Him, as I am today. Before that point, I consumed my life with other things, ranging from work to personal worries. Those things are important, not addictive substances by any means. However, they became vices that put as much of a wedge between me and God as any other. However, when I finally submitted my ALL to Him, He fully satisfied me. It was impossible for me imagine finding a substitute in the world for the love of God. To those of you in ministry (Church leaders, Chaplains, Biblical Counselors, etc.) ... If YOU are addicted to God and desire an amazing opportunity to join our growing network of caring counselors / moderators, in this uniquely responsive and vastly growing worldwide ministry; THEN message us direct at Jesus Christ The Messiah to make an introduction.
