We, as parents and caregivers, need to set our kids up for success in every possible way. Yesterday, I watched as a man basically ignored the cries of his 1-2 year old granddaughter. She was dirty and seemed to be tired. He was more interested in watching whatever he was viewing on his mobile device. So, to get her to stop interrupting him, with cigarette in hand, he gave her some munchies and a bottle of juice to help her be quiet. I believe that healthy nutrition is not only determined by living that way yourself, but also by quality time spent with a child. Let them know that they matter. Because they do. youtu.be/xUmp67YDlHY
