Our conference leaders--district superintendents and disaster response coordinators--are actively communicating with churches, congregations and residents to assess needs at the moment. Since we are in the early stages of disaster response, many volunteers will be needed in the coming weeks and days. UMCOR is delivering 1,800 cleaning buckets tomorrow from the Sager Brown warehouse in Louisiana. Volunteers will be needed to unload at Spanish Fort UMC and Gadsden Street UMC (Pensacola). We are not sure on the unloading times but will post here as soon as we know. Thank you for your care and concern.
