We at CSD had a very powerful and moving thing happen last night. Weve been working with a church client for about a year and half on a very special AVL and acoustics project. The main point of the project was to update a sanctuary so that the technology and the acoustics encouraged congregational singing - in particular, a capella singing. So the church worship team gathered and approx 100 members of the congregation came last night as we put the final touches on the sound system which included a large assortment of Meyer loudspeakers and a Constellation variable acoustics system. Look for details of this project in the coming weeks. At one point in the evening, I looked throughout the audience and saw the smiles on the peoples faces as they sang with everything they had in them IT IS WELL. I turned to my contact at the church and asked him what he thought. His reply: We have not experienced anything like this in 15 years!. This is why we love what we do. We do more than sell cardboard boxes of AV stuff. We design and build systems for worship. To God be the glory.
