We at International Equine Connections are so excited to share with you our very first successful rider through our non for profit programme IEC Sponsorships. Winning her very first PSG test!!! Let me share with you this great story, I am so proud! Firstly, IEC found and matched a beautiful FEI horse, perfect for our client. (as we are known for). What you may not know much about is our dream to create more FEI riders through our NON for profit Programme. After our client ( Megan Smith ) bought her new boy, she has very generously made her beautiful new horse available for our NON for profit programme. Olando was then matched with up and coming young rider, in this case Samantha Bingham. (Orlando, by the way is a super GP schoolmaster stallion whom is available for serving this year) Sam has amazing passion and talent for dressage, but has only had in the past the opportunity to ride on Novice horses. Sam has NEVER competed at an EA dressage test, and only ridden THREE pony club tests in her life!!! Today all of her hard work over the past months, training and having lessons with me on this wonderful mount paid off....... She came home with 1st place in not only her VERY FIRST equestrian Australia event but at PSG!!! I am so very proud to be making opportunities like this available to up and coming riders. We currently have three riders in our programme and cant wait to see this grow. Our goal is 10 riders by end 2016. These opportunities have only been available through IEC donating horses, and the generosity of our amazing clients making their dream horses available for this programme. A VERY BIG thank you to Omega Feeds, who not only sponsor myself but feed ALL our sponsor horses as well! It is not just the horse we need to find funds for but the ongoing care swell. Without OMEGA, there is no way we would be able to have three riders already riding these amazing FEI horses! Custom Saddles and The Equine Practice also for their very generous support. Such a rewarding day!
