We at Trimm International take it very seriously and do not - TopicsExpress

We at Trimm International take it very seriously and do not condone behavior that places charitable donors in a situation that puts their personal information and finances at risk. To that end, please be advised that Dr. Trimm, Trimm Foundation or any other Trimm International entity will not engage in the following behavior as it relates to your charitable donations: • Ask for a personal friend request; • Sell you a prophetic word; • Request to speak with you offline via your personal cell phone and/or email address; • Contact you outside of normal operating Eastern Daylight Time business hours to request a charitable donation; • Request that you support a charitable cause by sending monies by way of a wire transfer to parts unknown; • Obtain a charitable donation from you without promptly providing you with a receipt via email/first class mail, acknowledging your donated amount for tax purposes. Currently, there are persons who are impersonating Dr. Trimm and her charitable organization, Trimm Foundation and soliciting charitable donations not authorized by Dr. Trimm or Trimm Foundation. Neither Dr. Trimm nor Trimm Foundation has ever and will never solicit funds in a circuitous and secretive manner as described above. Note that all charitable donations remitted to support Trimm Foundation are tax deductible. While we work tirelessly to address and as well as prevent this serious issue from occurring, we at Trimm International make the following two (2) recommendations and pray you will implement them in order to protect yourself and your donations: • Unless you initiate contact with an individual and/or organization to regarding a charitable donation (to remit one or confirm receipt of one you remitted), refrain from providing your personal contact information; • Send monies to individuals and/or organizations that you confirm exist and are qualified by the Internal Revenue Service (“IRS”) to receive your charitable donations. Go on the IRS website or call the IRS to find out if an organization is qualified.
