We bought Burnin Bush Homestead back in July 2011 with the plans in making it a full working farm. Since 2012 we have been clearing out a lot of over growth, building a livestock/horse barn, shop/full canning kitchen, fenced pasture areas and chicken coop/ chicken yard. As of 2014 we have gotten most of everything finish or close to be finish. The last 2 years we have grown a garden and I self taught myself how to can and blanched a lot our foods We are now raising chickens, turkeys, guineas, horses, goats and a donkey.. Now 2015 is here... we are looking forward to what this year will bring. Our goals are for this year to be able to start raising cows and pigs, sale more farm fresh eggs and fresh produce, hatch our own chicks to raise and sell. We are wanting to have a couple seasonal barter/swap/sell events like we had back in October 2014. So stay tune....
