We braved the chilly temperatures this morning along with design team members GH2 Architects LLC and Manhattan Construction Group to attend the Topping Out ceremony for The Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) new headquarters. We’re proud to have provided structural engineering services for this four-story, 79,000 square foot office building and two-story, 140-space parking garage. Both structures are situated across from SEG’s existing headquarters on the 11-acre Geophysical Resource Campus at 88th & Yale in Tulsa. The new building will feature three stories of Class A office space available for lease as well as serve as SEG’s new headquarters. #toppingout #teamwork The Society of Exploration Geophysicists is a not-for-profit organization that promotes the science of geophysics and the education of applied geophysicists. SEG, founded in 1930, fosters the expert and ethical practice of geophysics in the exploration and development of natural resources, in characterizing the near surface, and in mitigating earth hazards. The Society, which has more than 33,000 members in 129 countries, fulfills its mission through its publications, conferences, forums, websites and educational opportunities.
