We buried an amazing man today. A man who loved my mom with all of his being, a man who took in three extra kids and never once treated any of us differently than his own. Through all of my hurt and sorrow, in the end I guess Im one lucky girl as I had two amazing men that I was able to call my dad. Not many people get that opportunity in life. But my sister and I did. We were so blessed with this. It seems like a bad dream that I could lose both of these men in a year. But they are both whole again. They are both healthy, happy and content. And we have two amazing angels watching out for us now. Its now time for us to heal. And remember what they gave us in life. My mom chose this song to be played at Toms funeral today. Not crazy about the music in this one but listen to the lyrics. Its an amazing song that brings comfort.
