We came out today and smoked the first team 16-1. We had one of our kids get sick on the way to the game and they had to turn around and go back home. So we had to scramble and decided to let my 6 year old Jaden play with us against the 9 year olds. He walked in his first at bat and then got a rip over the third basemans head in the outfield in his second at bat and scored two runs for us. We then faced a better team and guess what, he got him another hit down the third base line in his first at bat and then ripped one foul down the line in his second at bat and battled fouling several off before striking out looking (he said it was outside. lol) But he also played good defense getting everything hit to him and getting the ball back into the infield quickly every time. Im very proud of him and what he accomplished today!
