We can all change the world, and our circumstances, one opportunity at a time. How many times have we knowingly allowed a great opportunity to pass us by? How many times have we allowed slothfulness and complacency cause us to watch a blessing vanish in a fleeting dash? How many times have we not been the opportunity for someone else because we wasted valuable time, energy and mind-power on petty things that didn’t even really matter? Today we will redeem the time. One of the infinitely magnificent things about God is He is the author and finisher of our faith and the creator of time. This means He can allow a calendar to do what no man could ever do. He can give us wisdom to use every second, minute, hour, day, week, month and year effectively, efficiently, and productively. Let’s submit to God’s divine timing today. Let’s ask Him to redeem the time we have wasted with new opportunities. Let’s ask Him to give us the zeal and faith to move and not wait. Our wasted opportunities may have been connected to an opportunity for someone else. It’s bigger than us. Let’s move like it.
