We can be assured that the promises the LORD makes to man are absolute. When the LORD promised Abraham that HE would have descendants as vast as the sand on a seashore it happened REGARDLESS of what Abraham did after the fact. When the LORD promised Noah that HE would never again flood the whole earth and destroy all of its inhabitants HIS promise has stood REGARDLESS of what Noah did after the fact. When the LORD promised Moses that HIS people would inherit the promised land that promise has been secure REGARDLESS of what Moses did after the fact. When the LORD promised HIS people a Savior that would open the eyes of the blind and the ears of the deaf that promise was fulfilled in JESUS REGARDLESS of what HIS people did after the fact. When the LORD promised us that we would be saved for all time if we would but place our faith in the death, burial and resurrection of JESUS HE was not lying and REGARDLESS of what happens to us after the fact we that have done so are HIS forever. Yes we can be assured that the promises of the LORD are absolute. :D
