We can strive for neighborhoods like this. Each street is so thickly tree corridored that this urban forested large city, that you cannot see the neighborhood. Massive Carbon emissions taken in by these corridors. This city is embracing, as NYC, more and more hybrid and electric cars. I pulled into a grocery store and there were hybrids and electric cars surrounding me. In New York City ALL TAXI AND POLICE AND TRANSPORTATION WAS PURE ELECTRIC AND HYBRID. We need 1 barrel of crude oil per 40 gallons of gasoline. I gallon of burned gasoline gives us 20# of carbon dioxide . One tree takes in 48# of toxic C02 - It is all simple math that equals a healthy planet once we become greener .And, is why I know we have a community that is not healthy. If those CO2 emmissions were purple we would all be more alarmed and take action. We would let our supervisors know the ordinances they have been given need to be passed for beginning to make Millcreek healthier for our families.
