We can take the same machinery used to produce these compounds from the plant and use it to manufacture the natural compounds in yeast. This way, they can be produced safely, affordably, quickly, and easily. This method will also allow us to control specifically how much of each compound we want to produce (ie: 100% CBD, 100%THC, or a combination of both). Rather than relying on plant strains generated from selective breeding, specifically crafted microbes can be designed within a matter of days.
