We cannot subject the teachings of the Church according to our emotions, #feels and what we deem as acceptable to us. It just doesnt work that way. Pope Francis condemned Relativism and warned us against its danger, the same way that Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI warned us against the dictatorship of relativism The same way Pope St. John Pauls II emphasis on TRUTH being an objective reality, that is not swayed by the whims of the Majority. We must be careful that what we perceive as good due to its initial effects, is actually diabolic in origin. Lets properly discern spirits, so as to be assured in the Love and Truth of Christ. Sometimes Truth and Genuine Constructive Criticism hurt people, Charity is not pampering or fluffy-hugging goodness Charity is to honor who needs to be honored, and correct what needs to be corrected. Charity is Tough Love when needed. Why the need to mention these? Is it to be KJ? Not exactly...its to balance things, at least in the social media, with this little commentary. So as the COMPLETE message of his Holiness Pope Francis is not framed by the Media, and unintentionally by many of his Fans, myself included, thus watering it down into individualistic pampering. Why are we afraid of genuine social critique against harsh realities during celebrations? Are we really that sensitive? Lord Have Mercy!
