We cant wait for our reception today for Suzahn King. We hope to see you there. Here is a little more information about Suzahn by Richard, her husband. It was once said that “artists are the visionary, creators of great beauty, the dreamers, the pragmatists, the recorders of history and the conscience of civilization.” Biography of SuZahn King Cosgrove My name is Richard; my wife is SuZahn King Cosgrove-let me tell you about her as she is not much on talking about her art or herself. Moving from the East Coast to go to college, she worked her way as a Type C commercial printer in Los Angeles, Ca. for companies such as GP Graphics, Newell Color labs who did work for Jet Propulsion Labs and the first shuttles and others while attending LA College, UCLA, Otis School of Art and Design and used Harbor JC as a studio along with Yavapai College when living in Arizona. As an artist, SuZahn has entered many different shows in Arizona and California, winning many Best of Shows and First places. Four pieces of her work are in Los Angeles City Hall, one is in the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce and one is in the lobby of the UCLA Institute of Environmental Studies and Sustainability; plus works in many private collections. At times she found it hard to do art work while operation 100 units of apartments, involved in exporting fish to Greece and building two Self Storage facilities-one in Arizona and one in California. SuZahn worked for Nash editions, the premier large format fine art studio in the early 2000’s and there, worked with the Smithsonian Museum, the Whitney Museum of Fine Art and the Getty. As you can see by her works that she must love what she’s doing because she hasn’t stopped since she’s been able to devote all of her time to her art. Thanks you for taking interest in her show.
