We celebrated Canadian Thanksgiving with a few friends this past Sunday.. I cooked 2 5-kg turkeys, made Paleo Stuffing from scratch, made a Paleo Pumpkin cheesecake.. Sarah made the gravy, Karlena made a delicious Paleo Pumpkin Pie, Kylie made some tasty Parmesan-mashed White & Sweet Potatotes, Stephanie & Shaun brought around a Tangy Citrus & Strawberry Salad, Renee & Chris brought Roasted Carrots & Garlic-Peas as well as a Cashew nut-Cheese Ball that artistically served as the body of a turkey with an array of fresh veggies serving as the tail, Victoria prepped another plate of veggies, pickles, and olives in another artistic array resembling a turkey, and Stacey & Jeff brought Cranberry Jelly, some tasty Apple Tarts, and most importantly, some familiar Canadian accents - which were like the cherry on top of a perfect night! It was a very special evening, shared with good company, and ending with over-stuffed bellies... Sounds like Thanksgiving to me!
