We consider ourselves incredibly lucky to have so many supporters on our page & group who really make a difference to the animals in our care and ultimately enable us to continue with our work Sadly from time to time we do have cause to need to remind people of a few things! Firstly, the Algernon Trust is run by Jane along with a team of volunteers, lots of people who give up their own time for free to help with all of the many aspects of running the Sanctuary. These people all vary in how much time they can give as they all have other commitments to juggle, however we value every minute that people give to helping us & we will not tolerate any abuse or harassment towards anyone. Secondly it is not our policy to censor the page, we appreciate & accept that people have different opinions on different things, mostly people are able to respect others opinions even if they dont agree, we would generally not delete comments made on our posts. Whilst we appreciate that opinions in the comments often vary, we do not tolerate people attacking other people who have made comments. Finally, we generally like all comments, this is so that everyone knows their comment has been seen, it does not necessarily mean the comment is liked in the actual meaning of the word We appreciate that the majority of people already know all of this & would take the opportunity to thank you for your support
