We continue to lose our WWII veterans at an increasing pace, and our 10th Mountain Division is no exception. Today we learned that Earl Clark passed away last night in Denver. Earl was the first President of the National Association, and was an unwavering supporter of our descendant organization. We lost George Loudis on the day after Christmas, also in Denver. George was the current President of the Rocky Mountain Chapter, and was another strong supporter of our group. Last, Arthur Thompson passed away just prior to Christmas in upstate New York. Arthur was Tommy Thompsons father, the current Tenth Foundation President. He was one of the people most responsible for the Mountaineer statue at Fort Drum. Each served the Division for much of their lives, and as Mike Plummer has said will be remembered as long as the patch is worn. Please keep these families in your thoughts.
