We continue to monitor the weather closely tonight. Based on the most recent 7:00 p.m. (February 10, 2014) conference call with area emergency management officials, meteorologists, and other school superintendents, we do not currently anticipate a delayed start or change in school schedule. At present, the specific forecast for our school district does not call for temperatures to drop below freezing. However, because there is always uncertainty in weather forecasting, we will participate in another conference call at 4:00 a.m. If there is a change in school schedule for Tuesday, February 11, 2014, we will notify you by 5:30 a.m. If there is no change, we will not activate the parent alert system, but will post the announcement of a normal operating schedule on our website and social media.
