We count on government to set laws that are fair to all. But lately, the government fashion seems to be bribing voters to re-elect them, paying for the promised benefits with taxpayer money. Most businesses run on a plan that is longer than 4 years, but it seems the government will do anything that is bad for the country, as long as it wins them the next term. This pretty much invalidates the fitness of government to rule. Is there a way this subversion of authority can be corrected? Perhaps the only answer is a public that cant be bought off with promises of government benefits?
