We decided to go to Noodles and Company tonight. I know that it is not much of an anniversary dinner, but it is a school night. We have been patronizing the place at Independence Center. We like the place; the food is good and we have always been treated well. It doesn’t hurt that I think the employees are mostly hippies. No, they are not 60, but twenty somethings. The philosophy of the company seems to draw them. We showed up and announced that we have chosen them to celebrate our 15 years. The young lady that we have seen often said, “Then your meal is on me.” I at least talked her into paying for my own beer, since she is barely old enough to serve it. The rest was covered. It is rare anymore to have that kind of service. They seem to care more about our dining experience rather than their profit. Granted, it is not rock bottom prices, but at least you feel like you are getting the genuine feeling that they care about your experience. Not just taste, but satisfaction. Plus, paying for our meal….I am moved. I highly recommend you frequent the Noodles and Company in Independence Center. The food is good and, as you can tell, the service is not only exceptional, but soulful. Tell them that Mike and Cathy, married 15 years, sent you.
