We derive good health from many different venues in our lives. Health is something we gain by making choices that benefit the well being of our body, mind, and spirit. We work on our spirit by recognizing the inherent connection to all things and the creator energy that pulses in every cell and molecule around and within us. We can pray, meditate, and build awareness that allows us to develop ourselves individually and collectively. We work on our mind by setting up goals and visions, studying and learning, and playing. This allows us to keep ourselves on track and deal with the stresses and rigors of life around us. And then there is our body... perhaps the most important aspect of our corporeal state, yet often the most abused aspect. As a house for our mind and spirit, our body is the aspect that we sense and experience through. If our body ceases, our mind and spirit are left homeless. Regardless of any avenue of health that you choose to undertake, whether it be exercise, meditation, self care, or personal development, your undertaking will only go so far if the body does not receive the nutrition required to support it. Nutrition appropriate to your physical needs is like oxygen is to your survival. You must have it, or become deficient. Deficiency leads to imbalance ... leads to illness. Over the past 6 years, I have been using a nutritional system that focuses on balance and good health. With wonderful results, I might add. Now, at 50, I am happy to say that I am reaching health goals that I hadnt attained in the past. I am grateful for the nutrition and the atmosphere that nourishes the mind and spirit as well and encourage anyone who would like to expand their health to join me.
