We did a project over the weekend for a local manufacturer in our machine shop. They had a plastic injection mold built to make a part for one of their products, and then had a last minute design change. Rather than wait until the mold had been modified, and shoot more parts, they had us modify the existing ones to make them work. We had to trim the length on 500 plastic parts. This gives an idea of how we did it.
