We did it!!!! We did it! I am beyond euphoric!!! We did it!!!! For those of you who have been following my intense posts since Oct. 17th about the bonded, mated, abandoned pit bulls in Oakland, California, Trouble and Lulu of Help for Trouble and LuLu, We now have a temporary foster, the dogs are out from under the deadline of having to be moved before Nov. 3rd PLUS we raised enough funds to cover Troubles cancer surgery, LuLus upcoming spaying surgery, medications for both of them, and LuLus initial vet exam! We did it! We still need to find a forever home for them. I am still determined and relentless in holding the vision that they will be eventually adopted by a family who will lovingly adopt them as a bonded pair that should not be separated because of their deep love for one another AND that the family will do whatever it takes to manage Troubles cancer throughout the rest of his longest life possible. That means a family that will pay for upcoming surgeries for his Squamous Cell Carcinoma Cancer condition. This is my declaration to the Universe and I am sticking to it!!! :-) I will post videos and photos as I get them from foster or from my project buddy, Loran Watkins. Below are the photos of the condition that LuLu and Trouble were trapped within: Trouble had a growing, ruptured cancer tumor and they were both left abandoned in a filty, garbage filled backyard of a rental home where the landlord had already thrown them out of the yard to make them strays. The heroic, angelic next door neighbors took them in and negotiated with the landlord. The shout out to the public then began and here we are! Victory for the first lap around the block on the ultimate mission of getting properly adopted I want to give special mention with deep honor and respect for the next door neighbors who watched over these dogs from the other side of their fence for over one year as they watched Trouble and LuLus heartless owner leave them abandoned for weeks, maybe months, at a time until he just simply moved out of state leaving them behind. I want to give special thanks to a friend who had been reading my animal advocacy posts over the years and who turned to me for help when she found the dire situation of these dogs. I want to thank Celeste of itsaruffrufflife.vpweb/ for answering the pleas heard throughout the Heavens as many around the country rallied to network to get appropriate help for these precious pups. We are not home free yet BUT we ARE Out Of The Woods! Now, back to the rest of my life for awhile!
