We didnt have a halloween event this year, we had a get together instead, the weather hasnt been kind to us over the past few years and it is becoming more difficult to find volunteers to come along and help, so we decided this year to have some time together with the dogs and relax for once! Big thank you to everyone who came for our chill out weekend, those on the walk, those at the auction, those that donated and those that spent money and the Boss for her fabulous cooking! It was nice just to get together and not be rushing around like loonies trying to set stalls up and serve people. So thank you to everyone who made it a lovely weekend, and fortunately my knee is not broken, just badly bruised and swollen!! We had a fantastic donation from The John Bull Letters Group in Alnwick via David and Jo Karle of a massive £1000, which made a great weekend a FANTASTIC weekend, thank you guys it is a phenomenal amount. We also had a little auction and managed to raise a further £524.70, thanks to everyone who contributed to that. So a whopping £1524.70 raised this weekend without breaking our backs (just my knee slightly!) thanks to all the supporters who made it happen. Heres to the next one! Cheryl :)
