We do love healthy debate on this page, but the hostel sign has caused people to swear, be abusive to us and to other people posting on the thread. This is a polite reminder that we dont tolerate swearing at all (instant ban) or being nasty to other posters. You dont have to agree with us, but to those that told us to get a life and other similar comments, we do actually have a life and its one thats passionate about Edinburgh and horrendous signs like this. Call it Edinburgh snobbery, but were glad that this sign is going so that hundreds of thousands of people wont have to see it as they visit the Grassmarket / look at Edinburgh Castle from below in the future. Keep it clean folks!
