We do not operate on a first come first serve basis. We take - TopicsExpress

We do not operate on a first come first serve basis. We take adoptions for a dog from the moment he/she becomes available to the moment they get adopted, and we make the potential adopter jump through many hoops. Thats fine if you dont want to jump .. because that means you are not ready to get one of our bullys. The hoops are a test. They show us that you look after your own dogs, that you are serious about giving our bulldogs a furever home. You are not doing us a favor by making sure your vet records are available. Its not a favor its a requirement. You are not going beyond the call of duty to be available for a home visit. Its a requirement. Doing those things does not give you an advantage. It just means you passed a stage in the adoption process. If during the long process of finally adopting from us something just doesnt seem right to us we are going to drop your application. We dont care how far along the adoption process has gone .. if we dont think its right its not going to happen. We will not apologize because we chose to not adopt to somebody no matter how much they or their friends complain. Its not going to change things. And erratic behavior only confirms our suspicions. Vent over!
