We do not what God has planned, but I do believe He has His plans all arranged… As we head into the last day before Election Day, I want to say no matter what, I appreciate each and every voter who has expressed confidence in me. As a girl who used to attempt to hide in class to keep teachers from calling on me, as I so feared actually speaking out loud, I am amazed that God has placed so many family and friends in my life that have encouraged me…AND helped me. Win or lose---I thank each and every one of you. And though I may not always see you all often, or sometimes not at all---I have a deep and abiding love for your worth—your individual value—for you as someone I have been blessed to even know. As C.S. Lewis has said, we are in enemy occupied territory---meaning? We are in a fallen world with a lot of problems, a lot of suffering, a lot of struggle and grief. But we are also in a place where it is the contrast of such valleys that allows us to truly know the joy of so many wonderful gifts of this world---and my facebook friends, YOU are a gift.
