We do salute to such teachers. Prof. Rimi B. Chatterjee of English Department Prof. Abhijit Gupta ( Tintin da ) are condemning the HC ruling and are taking steps against it. Tintin da is going to take classes at gate 4 outside the campus. Abhijit Gupta, Professor, English Department wrote on his fb page, Since I have no desire to show an ID to police to enter a university where I have taught for over 15 years, I will henceforth take my classes on the pavement opposite gate no. 4, adjacent to the NIL. Next class, Monday 29 September 2014, at 12.50. We will read some poetry by Seamus Heaney. Bring a mat/newspaper if you dont want to get your clothes dirty. I have long wanted to do this anyway, so I humbly thank the honourable HC for giving me an opportunity to do so. #team_hokkolorob do appreciate their support & thanks them for making the protest stronger and urge other professors also to protest out loud. #hokkolorob
