We don’t need to go to extremes—neither chauvinism nor feminism. Woman was not created from the feet of Adam to be stepped on and treated as inferior. Nor were women created from his head, leaving part of his brain missing, as if men are inferior. Women were created from his—what?—from his rib, from his side, proving women to be of no greater or lesser value, but equivalent, a complement, a help-mate, an equal partner.
