We dont do cry it out. I dont encourage it in any way and I hate seeing it. Its rude. Beyond just the scientific evidence that its bad for babies, why the hell would you not go to a tiny person who is crying to soothe them anyways? Id be pissed if I were upset and being ignored just because I was misunderstood or because my loved ones were too busy or inconvenienced to help me. It seems overwhelming at times, but its such a short time period to go through. They will never love us as much or need us as much as they do when theyre littles why not soak that up and love them back? Love begets love. I will be responsive and caring because I created them and they are important.
