We dont have a problem with other cultures or nationalities reaping any benefits or rewards from the creation of the Jamaican culture. Copycats always sounds and looks good but does the dreamers, the visionary, the artists, the creators, the producers, the arrangers, the recording engineer, the musicians. Need I say anymore to my JAMAICAN people, culture and government in a $25 billion dollars industry why is it that we are not reaping the benefits of our culture. Lets take it back from foreign dominance, lets re Roots and re Curry lets reclaim our culture. We can re-educate and revitalize our :children our culture our economy and our standard of living. If we had control would that not be a means and industry that would create jobs and better income for our Island Nation. Its IDEAS. Visions Dreams Education and Goals that will Empower tomorrow childrens. We or children have created a $25 billion dollars industry and given it away to rest of world for nothing. The American and the European have self control and ownership of their cultures so whats wrong we the Jamaican culture doing the same thing
