We dont say thank you enough to each other. Thank you, to all who have been kind to Amanda, and to Toms family, especially to his mom Debbie, and to his brother Brett. Thank you to Vanessa for being there for Brett, and for Amanda and all the family. Thank you, hugs and love to Nicole, for being her sisters rock. Thanks and love to Matthew for being such a big help, a loving nephew, and mature young man. More thanks and love to Brian for all your help, love, strength and patience. Thank you to the YaYas - Sarah, Shelley, Kimberly, Missy, Jill, Julie - for being her soft cloud. Thank you to Dave for being my own rock. Thank you to Sara, Brian, John, and Steve for loving their sister. Thank you to Michelle for all your loving help (I have plenty of soda now, thanks! :-) ) Thank you to my bestest friend Dawn for being there for us. Thank you to all who sent flowers to brighten the days, and food while we were to busy and overwhelmed to think to cook. Thank you to Cherry Hill Pizza in Hampstead for donating sandwiches to the family for the wake, and for catering the family gathering yesterday. (Locals, the food is great - give them your business!) Thank you to Ruthy for setting up a memorial fund for Amanda in Toms name - it will help so much as she takes time off to work through her loss. Thank you to my neighbors Judy and Bob who helped set up the house for the gathering while we were busy, and for their love. And to condo board of directors who looked the other way while we blatantly violated rules for use of the common areas, and for the use of the tables and chairs. Thank you to my coworkers (especially Lou) for having my back while I am away. Thank you to Amandas family, who love her and are there for her always - Sarah, who surprised me with a clean house and flowers; Nick, with good advice and constant love; Kristine who brought food and kindness; Karen, always there with food and love. Jess, Justin and Ryan for your love and help. Erika, Alan, Dan for being there for her. To Rob for fixing my toilet (cant imagine all those folks in my house without your help!) And to Amandas Papa, Nick, who loves her deeply and is always there for his family. Most of all, thank you to all the Valentines, who are the most gracious and loving family Ive ever met, even in their grief. Now I know where Tommy got his wonderfulness.
