We dont see it very often and it makes our hearts smile when we do! Here is a girl who LOVES her dog, just rescued her this month, and has now found out she has heartworms. Instead of dumping her at a shelter or contacting a rescue and demanding that they take the dog yesterday, she has reached out to try and get some help for her very loved pet. If there is ANYONE who could help with a donation please, please let Linsey know. lnlinder0324@yahoo This is what she has said about her girl Daisy: This is Lindsey; I rescued a 3 year old boxer over the weekend 10/26/13 and took her to the vet on Monday 10/28/13. She has heart worms and it is going to cost me about $450 to $500 to have her treated. She will need her first treatment in January. Her first owners said that they had to move into an apartment and couldn’t have pets so they packed up and left her outside for days. She became infested with fleas and ticks. I had been looking for a boxer as a family pet, and heard about her from a friend and decided I would take her. She is the most precious dog I have ever had. We have just discovered that she may have been beaten by men because she will not have anything to do with my husband she gets scared when he gets close to her. She follows me around all the time and lays on me and cuddles with me. My girls are 4 & 2 and from the moment she met them they have been able to Waller all over her and play with her and she doesn’t even budge. I want to make her healthy and I want her to be able to live a long, fun, and healthy life. I am asking for help on getting her treated. Her doctor is Dr Eubanks in Jacksonville, Ar. I have attached 2 pictures of her sweet face! If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to contact me. Thanks so much. And last night: Mrs. Debbie, here are some pictures of my Daisy. Last night my girls wanted to play with her so bad, my 4 year old understands that she is sick and cant really have alot of activity but my 2 year old doesnt so she grabbed Daisys collar and Daisy just got up and my daughter led her around the whole house. It was so sweet, then Daisy just climed back on the couch and went back to sleep. lnlinder0324@yahoo
