We don’t think there’s ever been a Manchester Derby where City FOOTIE TRIVIA: The difference between Red and Blue were the firm favourites to win at Old Trafford. Well that’s the way it is ahead of this week’s derby at Old Trafford. The Red Devils have been nothing short of rubbish in 2013/14 and City are flying high, still favourites to win the title. In March 2013, Manchester United were on their way to the Premier League title under Sir Alex Ferguson, a massive 15 points ahead of City in 2nd. Now, they’re languishing in 7th place on 51 points, 12 behind City in 3rd. That’s a 27 point swing since this time last year! Many people blame David Moyes for this dramatic fall from grace, but that’s debatable. The fact is that in the short space of a year, the Citizens have leapfrogged their City rivals and are pointing and laughing as you read this. How long will City be the top club in Manchester?
