We encourage you to come down to the Capitol and watch the legislative session as it unfolds. Tuesday will likely consist of caucus meetings and a first read of the bill. The bulk of activity will likely occur Wednesday, with committee hearings in the morning and Committee of the Whole (COW) in the afternoon. A final vote will potentially occur late Wednesday or Thursday. Wednesday is going to be an exciting day, so please come to the Capitol. Important changes are being made to our child welfare system and it is important for us to pay attention to what happens during this historic week.
