We feel passion and unconditional love for our children without even questioning its depth. But the other part of our lives i want to concentrate on here, is the passion we have for our work where we spend most of our lives. We want to do well at work because it means promotion and a raise, and this makes life better for our family, but for those who are not passionate about their work in the same way as they are about their own interest never really achieve anything worthwhile. Without passion for this integral and important part of our lives, we are sleepwalking through our days for the sake of the paycheck we receive. But with passion, our self-respect and sense of self-worth grow and the respect of others grows too, and we have more to give both at work and at home. Your colleagues at work are also a different part of your family and hence they deserve your love too.
