We finally got to begin transplant around 2:30 today. We had to wait for test to come back from all of Dons issues earlier today. His rash has cleared up , Doctors feel it was a reaction to the chemo or either the magnesium they has given him before transplant. They also did a check on his heart due to the heartburn and jaw pain. Everything checked and we were able to start transplant. We finished transplant around 4:30. All is good except that Don smells like creamed corn and so does our room. He also has a headache. We will now just sit and wait for Dons counts to improve and the stems cells to graft. Please continue to pray. We have many long days of recovery ahead of us.
