We finished out our 4th day today and had rain first thing then - TopicsExpress

We finished out our 4th day today and had rain first thing then clearing into a beautiful, calm, and sunny day. Unfortunately calm is not usually good for fishing and that was true again today for most Big Rock fishermen, us included. We marked some good bait and a few fish, and a 412 lb blue marlin was caught in a spot we had just left in the morning. We caught one gaffer dolphin and that was our day and end of our tournament. The Fabulous fisherman money for the first 500 lb blue marlin has still not been claimed yet and there are two days left in the tournament. We have fished our 4 out of 6 days so we are done and headed back to Pirates Cove Marina tomorrow for charters resuming on Sat, Sun, Tues, and Wed. Monday is open and tuna fishing is hot if you want to take Monday. Just call the marina or me and well get you out there fishing the blue Gulfstream water. Thanks to Pete, Scott, Tracie, Mike, Bill, Jeff, Zak, Mark, Kevin, Gregg, and Toby for sponsoring us in this years Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament! We had a good time offshore and I hope they come back to do better with us in 2015. Well be practicing up steadily on the billfish this year on the Sushi boat, in Costa Rica with Harry Glah, and a few other choice marlin locations with top Captains and crews. Thanks to those who followed us in the 2015 Big Rock. We appreciate your posts of good luck and wishes. Charley
