We fought to free our nation from a system that marginalises it, a system that is deeply unfair in its sharing out of equity, that has families of people who work full-time living in poverty; that has hundreds of thousands of children going hungry every day; that greatly rewarded those who failed us for no other reason than they were them and not us; that has sold what was ours to those who control that system. We were lied to, cheated and treated with disdain. We are still being lied to, cheated and treated with disdain. Now, after the all of this, after the most important vote in Scottish history that saw the biggest turnout in British electoral history; were as little as a 5 or 6% swing on the day would have won all we fought for, we are to simply get over it? I refuse ....
