We get many people that tell us they discovered the Big Phat Band on Pandora or Spotify and listen to our music all the time on those services and how much they enjoy our efforts, and that is great. Having well-intentioned people give you their appreciation never gets old! And yet - this article shows whats going on behind the curtain. If you care about jazz and/or classical music, you should read it. Because to date, I have yet to get a single check from the streaming of the BPB catalogue. Not a penny. The sad truth is, if you are enjoying a niche artist on these streaming services, you are contributing to that artists demise.
