We get questions about the broken awning and barriers at 1309 Cornwall. The glass awning was broken weeks ago when a piece of the building fell through it. Heres an update: According to the City, there is an active code enforcement case. The property owner responded within the given timeline and stated theyve hired a contractor, but there is no construction date yet set. Were also told they will also be required to have an engineer inspect the rest of the building to prevent more pieces falling off and causing damages.
