We get so happy when we see people embracing Islam, but Islam needs quality not quantity. How many Muslims do not practice Islam? How many do not even pray? How many Muslims do not fast the month of Ramadan? How many Muslims do not pay Zakaah? How can someone claim to love and believe in Allaah, and not pray? (Even the hypocrites at the time of the prophet (saw) used to pray.) How can someone claim to love the Messenger (SAW), and abandon his sunnah completely? And some even oppose, mock and insult the sunnah and claim to LOVE the prophet (SAW). May Allaah save us from hypocrisy. Sahaba were quality Muslims. They implemented Islam in their life. Allaah and His messenger were their first priority. Their claims were true, unlike the majority of Muslims today. We must understand that faith is described as 1) belief of the heart, 2) statements by the tongue and 3) actions of the limbs. Allah repeatedly says in the Quran.
