We got a call last night about a local case of whooping cough at school. I see so many adorable babies and children on Facebook lately, with more on the way. Please do your part to keep them safe. Because it takes several courses of vaccination to have sufficient protection, babies and young children are at the greatest risk if exposed to this illness. If you spend any time around babies or young children (or the elderly), you owe it to them to make sure youre covered, typically with your tetanus shot or Tdap.
