We got all the work done to the saddles, all dressed up to go out riding and I go to catch the horses and they are just soaked to the bone. Such wet, heavy snow. Seeing as cold temps are coming our way, I didnt want to get the horses any wetter with sweat. We decided to tie both horses in the barn, brush all the ice out of their coats, then took four towels and dried them off. The two fur butts sure seemed to enjoy their day at the spa, lol. Its a good thing I have a big barn. Two people and two horses with flapping towels could have got interesting. I put some fresh shavings, water and hay in there so there is a party going on. If the snow continues to be so wet I will be putting their waterproof outer shell jackets on so they dont freeze when the cold hits. Bunch of spoiled monkeys, lol.
